LOLZ, okay I can totally see there is allot of inspiration and influences drawn from maleficent, It's mind blowing how your use of shading and texture actually clearly maps her facial structure from an angle that would usually make it a complete nightmare to do.
Also... those eyes... my gawd... I've been trying for years to get that same effect but to no avail, that's why I rather keep my work at a comic art/ cartoony level.
By far my favorite part of this painting has to be the feather/ fur collar/neck piece. I'm pretty sure I know how you did that but its still staggering how well you pulled it off, And the light color really compliments the shape of her neck and head due to the darker colors.
Just my personal opinion though, but the one thing that kills it for me is the crown, not the ethereal/holographic parts (those are cool) but the physical crown itself, due to the texture you used it kind of comes off as a solid 2D piece. (I'm sure If you added darker parts in the background behind her would have remedied this.) but even with that, It just doesn't feel as if it should be in there, but once again, just my personal opinion.
